SMSD - iPhone SMS Enhancement Tool
December 5th, 2007
One of my friends has been asking me for a way of how to forward an individual SMS on iPhone. After some googling, I’ve got this: iphone-smsd.
The easiest installation is by Installer.app. Actually you can find it in Utilities->SMSD.
The UI is pretty straightforward, so give it a try.
Of course, if you just like it as I do, please join me to say thanks to the author.
Here’s what it looks like:

Update: Forwarded Chinese SMS cannot be displayed correctly, guess it’s Unicode issue. And currently the author is working on it. Looking forward to v0.09.
Update: Currently the most up-to-date version 0.0.9 has fixed the above issue.

Given your situation, I suggest you fix your computer first. Even if you still can be able to run some commands under Term-v100 in the iphone, but, that’s VERY VERY limited, based on my knowledge.
Good luck.

Most likely it’s caused by the permission issue.Make sure the SMSD executable has the enough privilege before you run it. Please read SMSD v0.2.3beta1 for 1.1.3 for more details.
If still no clue, contact me again.

It wont work directly because the version on Installer.App is only 0.21, who ever updates the installer needs to get this package updated !!!! Pretty Please of course ! or you can visit the website for SMSD http://amrut.joshi.googlepages.com

Perhaps you are right. Before your comment,I assume CLC has installed SMSD manually guided by my previous post.
Anyway installing SMSD manually is not so complicated, whoever can’t wait, just do it themselves. No big deal, right?
Thanks for the comment.
