Youtube Is BACK in China!

This afternoon I helped one of my friends to jailbreak and activate his brand new 1.1.2 OTB iphone following this tutorial on hackintosh. After done and show him some tips and tricks about the use of iphone, i suddenly found that youtube WORKS now.

Just couples of minutes ago I patched youtube again on my 1.0.2 iphone. I just wanna make sure if the success has something to do with the ff version. And the answer is no, ‘coz I can watch youtube video on my iphone as well, which is for sure not possible before.

So the only reason is google has unblocked the disallowable access from chinese ip addresses. A gift to the coming of chinese Spring Festival? maybe.

yidong.google.com

If you enter google.com in iphone’s safari browser, by default you will redirect to google.cn sometime, which may not be what you want. If so, try yidong.google.com.

I know it’s a Chinese PinYin for the word ‘mobile’(移动), but it does be able to take you to google’s default global-search, other than the Chinese-only one.

Besides,there you can also see the google’s new move on web apps esp. for iphone as below.
